Love is a powerful word
and has a mighty hold
Love generates an infinite amount of heat
and one in love cannot be cold
Love is as the waters of the sea
ever wide and ever deep
And even when the body grows weary
love knows no sleep
It travels a never ending road
on it’s way to the heart
And during the roughest times
it cannot be torn apart
Jealousy is a constant danger
lurking always in the shadows of time
Watching and waiting as love grows on
eagerly awaiting a doubtful mind
But one in love must be strong
to keep from going under
Jealousy must not be allowed to have its way
or the heart will be torn asunder
Through all the trials and tribulation
life shall bring about
Love continues to keep holding on
and eventually love wins out.
